Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack construction materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Skill Support: Assist journeyman and skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including carpentry, electrical, and plumbing support.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure a safe working environment.
- Equipment Operation: Operate heavy machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Measurement: Perform basic measurements and site preparation as directed by the foreman.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Driver’s License: Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record is required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Experience: No prior experience necessary; on-the-job training is provided for qualified candidates.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends if required.
