Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and distribute materials, tools, and equipment at construction sites efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various tasks.
- Perform site preparation, including clearing debris, digging trenches, and grading.
- Operate basic construction equipment and tools safely and correctly.
- Ensure the job site is clean, organized, and compliant with all safety regulations.
- Perform manual labor tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving heavy objects.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the site supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols is a plus.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-oriented attitude.
- Valid driver's license (preferred but not mandatory).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
