Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Site Support: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe by removing debris and following safety protocols.
- Equipment Preparation: Prepare tools and machinery for daily use and perform basic maintenance checks.
- Demolition & Prep: Assist in demolition tasks and site preparation, including excavation and rough grading when necessary.
- Measurements: Accurately measure and cut materials as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates with no experience.
- Tools: Own basic hand tools (optional but preferred).
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the job site.
