Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks and project requirements.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites using heavy machinery or manual labor.
- Perform general site cleanup, including debris removal, sweeping, and waste disposal.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for the crew.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and construction plans under supervision.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform physical labor, including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy objects as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred; willing to learn is key.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
- No prior construction experience required (Entry Level), but a strong work ethic is essential.
