Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up barriers, and ensuring safety compliance
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, equipment operation, and basic construction tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints to execute project specifications accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper waste disposal
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Operate hand/power tools and light machinery under supervision
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily project milestones
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction labor or related experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Basic math skills for material measurements and calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with consistent attendance
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment background and drug screening
