Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear work areas, remove debris, and prepare job sites for construction activities.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize building materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Assist Tradespeople: Support electricians, carpenters, and framers with specific tasks as directed.
- Concrete & Earthwork: Assist in mixing concrete, pouring footings, or digging trenches as required.
- General Labor: Perform a variety of manual tasks including sanding, painting, and cleaning.
- Tool Maintenance: Keep tools and equipment clean and in good working order.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and company protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy physical labor for extended periods, including lifting 50+ lbs.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance and a strong work ethic are essential.
- Safety Awareness: Knowledge of basic construction safety practices is a plus.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Experience: Previous construction or landscaping experience is preferred but not always required.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.
