Job Overview:
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team on-site. You will work closely with foremen and skilled tradespeople to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Assisting Trades: Provide support to carpenters, electricians, and masons by fetching tools and supplies as needed.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Basic Construction Tasks: Perform simple tasks such as mixing concrete, cleaning forms, and operating basic power tools.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress and safety issues.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy objects for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous construction or labor experience is a plus but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Tools: Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is preferred.
- Safety Focus: Must adhere to all safety regulations and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Reliability: Must be punctual, hardworking, and dependable.
- Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to get to and from the job site.
