Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, excavating, and leveling the ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials using hand trucks, forklifts, or other equipment.
- Machinery Operation: Operate power tools, including drills, saws, and compressors, under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to prevent accidents.
- Assistance: Provide general labor support to skilled tradespeople, including carpenters and electricians.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is preferred but not required.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and working in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and overtime if necessary.
- Attendance: A strong track record of punctuality and reliability.
