Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks on construction sites, including loading, unloading, and staging materials.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
- Assist with excavation, digging, and site preparation for foundations and structures.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, adhering to all OSHA safety standards and regulations.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
- Transport tools and equipment between job sites using company vehicles or manual labor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred; relevant trade school experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols and the willingness to wear all required PPE.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-oriented attitude.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
