Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and stack building materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Perform general cleaning of construction sites, including removing debris and trash.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks as needed.
- Operate basic construction machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Read and comprehend basic blueprints and site instructions.
- Transport materials between job sites using company vehicles or equipment.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for long periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and estimating materials.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
