Responsibilities
- Material Management: Load, unload, and organize construction materials at job sites efficiently and safely.
- Site Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks as needed.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction tools and machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks, under supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure OSHA compliance.
- Formwork & Framing: Assist in setting up temporary forms and scaffolding for concrete pours.
- Demolition & Cleanup: Perform light demolition duties and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
- Communication: Relay instructions from supervisors and maintain clear communication with the crew.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), stand for long periods, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable Transportation: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to commute to different job sites.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.
- Safety Awareness: Basic understanding of safety protocols and a commitment to following them.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime when necessary.
