Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, material handling, and debris removal
- Operate basic hand tools (shovels, hammers, levels) and power equipment under supervision
- Follow safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and manual labor
- Support skilled trades with general site support as needed
- Complete daily timecards and incident reports accurately
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid government-issued photo ID and work authorization
- Reliable transportation to job sites within NYC boroughs
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of English for safety instructions
