Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Assist in the setup and cleanup of job sites, ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools under supervision.
- Transport materials between job sites or storage areas using hand trucks, dollies, or forklifts.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure site compliance.
- Perform general cleanup duties, including sweeping, shoveling, and debris removal.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and foremen regarding project needs and daily tasks.
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required; on-the-job training is provided.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting, standing, and walking on uneven terrain.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing schedules.
- Basic math skills for measuring, counting materials, and reading simple blueprints.
- Valid driver's license (preferred but not always required).
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
