Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and completion of various construction projects, including residential and commercial sites.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently from delivery trucks.
- Operate hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and levels, under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Assist in concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing tasks to ensure high-quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S methodology) to ensure safety compliance.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations set by OSHA and site management at all times.
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required; full training is provided on-site.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials accurately.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with supervisors.
