Responsibilities
- Site Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks and project requirements.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by removing debris and trash regularly.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under supervision.
- Measurement & Marking: Assist in measuring, cutting, and marking materials according to blueprints and instructions.
- Transportation: Help transport materials to and from the work area using dollies, pallet jacks, or manual labor.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must have a consistent work history and be punctual.
- Availability: Willingness to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a larger construction crew.
