Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear and prepare construction sites by removing debris, vegetation, and obstacles.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment efficiently.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment and power tools under the supervision of skilled tradesmen.
- Concrete & Framing: Assist in pouring concrete, setting forms, and basic framing tasks.
- Site Maintenance: Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe in strict accordance with OSHA regulations.
- General Labor: Perform various manual labor tasks as directed by the site supervisor to ensure project deadlines are met.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for extended periods, including lifting, bending, and standing.
- Experience: Previous construction labor or general labor experience is preferred; a willingness to learn is essential.
- Tools: Familiarity with basic hand and power tools is a plus.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime when necessary.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
