Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Support Trades: Provide hands-on support to carpenters, electricians, and HVAC technicians as directed.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction equipment, such as forklifts, skid steers, and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Site Safety: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment for all personnel.
- Quality Control: Help ensure that work meets project specifications and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and dependability.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to safety details.
