As a Laborer, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations, assisting skilled tradespeople with various tasks on residential and commercial sites.
Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear, level, and prepare construction sites by removing debris and obstacles.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute building materials, tools, and equipment to designated work areas.
- Assist Trades: Support carpenters, masons, and electricians by performing manual labor tasks as directed.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment such as forklifts, jackhammers, and concrete mixers under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized job site by sweeping, hauling trash, and ensuring safety hazards are addressed.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, hardworking, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime if necessary.
- Documentation: Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
