Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently and safely.
- Site Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, with daily tasks and installations.
- Equipment Operation: Operate heavy and light machinery such as forklifts, skid steers, and jackhammers under supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards in strict compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Excavation & Prep: Dig trenches, set forms, and perform basic concrete finishing as directed by the Site Superintendent.
- Tool Management: Maintain and inspect hand and power tools to ensure they are in proper working condition.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for long periods in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, hardworking, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Driver’s License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Math Skills: Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction labor is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidates.
- Background Check: Must pass a drug screen and background check.
