Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up barriers, and ensuring safety protocols
- Load/unload materials, tools, and equipment using proper lifting techniques
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, etc.) with project tasks
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, excavators) under supervision
- Maintain clean work areas and dispose of waste properly
- Read and interpret basic construction blueprints and instructions
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards at all times
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Willingness to work in outdoor conditions (heat, rain, cold)
- Basic math skills for measuring and material calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Memphis/Georgia
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Pass background check and drug screening
