Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials (wood, concrete, steel, etc.) to job sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Machinery Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under supervision to aid in the building process.
- Cleanup & Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Trade Support: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety guidelines to ensure a hazard-free environment.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We welcome candidates with zero prior experience who are willing to learn and grow within the company.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for long periods, including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and standing on your feet.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work a consistent full-time schedule.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Teamwork: Willingness to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of construction professionals.
- Tools: Basic understanding of hand tools is a plus, but not mandatory.
