Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts) and hand tools with precision
- Assist carpenters, masons, and electricians on active construction sites
- Maintain site cleanliness and safety compliance daily
- Read blueprints and follow project specifications accurately
- Load/unload materials and prepare job sites for operations
- Participate in daily safety briefings and hazard assessments
- Complete time-sensitive tasks with minimal supervision
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Basic blueprint reading skills
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- Flexibility to work weekends and overtime
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
