Responsibilities
- Site Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various construction tasks and duties.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site efficiently.
- Machinery Operation: Operate heavy machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
- Site Maintenance: Perform general cleanup, debris removal, and site preparation before and after shifts.
- Measurement: Measure, cut, and shape materials according to blueprints and project specifications.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends and flexible hours as needed.
- Physical Demands: Physically capable of lifting heavy objects (50+ lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is a plus but not mandatory.
- Communication: Strong ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Tools: Basic understanding of construction tools and safety gear.
