Responsibilities
- Perform various general labor tasks on construction sites, including loading, unloading, and distributing materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily operations.
- Operate heavy machinery and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
- Ensure the construction site is clean, organized, and adheres to safety regulations.
- Perform basic measurements and cuts as required by the project supervisor.
- Handle physical labor including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy objects.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in construction or general labor is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well within a team.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards (OSHA) is a plus.
