Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial plumbing systems
- Diagnose and resolve pipe leaks, clogs, and fixture malfunctions
- Read blueprints and technical specifications for complex installations
- Ensure compliance with Chicago plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Perform preventative maintenance on water heaters, boilers, and HVAC systems
- Collaborate with contractors and property managers on-site
- Provide accurate project reports and material estimates
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois plumbing license (journeyman or master)
- Minimum 3 years commercial/residential plumbing experience
- Proficiency in trenchless pipe repair and hydro-jetting
- OSHA 10 certification preferred
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex plumbing issues
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Reliable transportation and basic hand tools
- Background check and drug screening required
