Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment in compliance with NEC and California standards
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting methodologies
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and clients to ensure project timelines and quality standards
- Conduct safety inspections and maintain detailed documentation of work performed
- Lead junior electricians on complex projects while mentoring team members
- Respond to emergency calls after hours for critical electrical failures
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid California Electrician Journeyman License (required)
- OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Proven expertise with conduit bending, circuit design, and power distribution
- Strong diagnostic skills with multimeters, voltage testers, and other diagnostic tools
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and climb ladders safely
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Flexibility for on-call shifts and overtime as needed
