Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Shadow and support senior technicians with residential and commercial electrical installations and repairs.
- Learn Electrical Systems: Gain hands-on training in wiring, circuit breaker installation, lighting, and conduit bending.
- Read Blueprints: Develop the ability to interpret electrical schematics, floor plans, and blueprints.
- Ensure Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols on every job site.
- Tool Maintenance: Maintain and organize electrical tools and testing equipment.
- Site Preparation: Help prepare job sites by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and organizing materials.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients and provide basic information about work being performed.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Experience: No prior experience required. We value potential over pedigree.
- Physical Requirements: Must be physically fit to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- License: Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record is required.
- Skills: Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude are a plus.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and occasional overtime.
