Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Prepare job sites by laying out materials, gathering tools, and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Drill holes, cut openings, and fit pipes to carry electrical wires through walls and floors.
- Install electrical fixtures, switchboards, and appliances according to blueprints and specifications.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and wiring.
- Adhere strictly to all local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Strong willingness to learn and obtain a Journeyman Electrician license.
- No prior experience required; we are looking for motivated candidates ready to train.
