Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with residential/commercial installations, repairs, and maintenance
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems including wiring, lighting, and controls
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times
- Perform system diagnostics using testing equipment (multimeters, voltage testers)
- Document work orders, material usage, and project progress
- Participate in ongoing skills training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces/heights
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Commitment to safety and willingness to learn
