Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling, site prep, and foundational tasks
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) safely and efficiently
- Maintain job site cleanliness, including debris removal and hazardous material disposal
- Read and interpret blueprints to execute construction plans accurately
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and report hazards immediately
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing operations as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or trade school certification
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Greater Boston
