Responsibilities
- Assist certified journeymen with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret basic electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Perform routine inspections to identify potential hazards or code violations.
- Install, splice, connect, and solder electrical wire, conduit, and other electrical components.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work site at all times.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to learn safety protocols and trade-specific techniques.
