Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Prepare job sites by gathering materials, tools, and equipment.
- Follow all safety regulations and OSHA guidelines to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical components and identify potential issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Handle tools and materials with care, ensuring proper maintenance.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of mathematics and measurements.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
