Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with residential and commercial electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Learn and strictly adhere to all local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety protocols.
- Prepare job sites by organizing tools, materials, and equipment before starting tasks.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to identify hazards or necessary repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety standards are met at all times.
- Handle basic wiring tasks under supervision, such as pulling wire and stripping cable ends.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read simple instructions.
- A strong commitment to safety and a positive attitude toward learning.
