Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all job sites.
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites efficiently.
- Perform basic troubleshooting under the guidance of a licensed journeyman.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not always required for entry-level positions.
- Must be willing to undergo on-the-job training and apprenticeship programs.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Valid driver's license is a plus.
- Strong desire to learn and work well within a team.
