Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics under supervision.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, terminate conduit, and connect electrical components.
- Ensure all work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations (OSHA).
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and correctly.
- Handle material handling and inventory management for electrical supplies as needed.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to advance towards Journeyman Electrician certification.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including climbing ladders and working in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to learn and adhere to strict safety protocols.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating electrical loads.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
