Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from delivery vehicles and set up job sites safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are accounted for.
- Learn and adhere to all local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations and safety protocols.
- Perform basic tasks such as drilling, cutting, fastening, and measuring under supervision.
- Interact with customers to explain work status and answer basic questions professionally.
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues and identifying necessary repairs.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; however, a strong desire to learn the electrical trade is essential.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and climb ladders or work at heights.
- Basic math skills for reading blueprints and calculating measurements.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
