Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and lighting systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine wiring layouts.
- Ensure all electrical work strictly adheres to local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential safety hazards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently and safely.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely project completion.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
