Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with residential and commercial installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure safety and compliance.
- Prepare work areas by organizing tools and materials.
- Ensure all work complies with local Oakland building codes and OSHA safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding job progress.
- Keep detailed records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic computer skills and ability to read blueprints is a plus but not required.
- Strong willingness to learn and obtain an electrical journeyman license.
