Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on residential and commercial systems.
- Prepare and submit work orders and expense reports accurately and on time.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols while working in various environments, including high-rise buildings and residential homes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work in confined spaces.
- Basic math skills for calculating loads and circuit sizing.
- Willingness to obtain required state licensure or certifications.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
