Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Support the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, lighting, and power distribution in commercial and industrial facilities.
- Read Blueprints: Interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings to understand project layouts and circuit requirements.
- Perform Safety Inspections: Conduct routine safety checks to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety protocols during night operations.
- Wire and Terminate: Execute basic wiring tasks, including stripping wire, making connections, and terminating conductors according to the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Tool Maintenance: Maintain and organize electrical tools and equipment to ensure efficiency and safety on the job site.
- Site Cleanliness: Keep work areas clean and organized to prevent hazards and ensure a professional environment.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; vocational training is a plus but not required.
- Experience: No prior experience required. Must be eager to learn and willing to undergo on-the-job training.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a full-time basis.
- Driver’s License: Valid Arizona driver’s license required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Soft Skills: Basic math skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
