As an Apprentice, you will work under the guidance of certified journeymen, gaining hands-on experience in residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Perform routine inspections to ensure all work meets local and national electrical codes.
- Prepare materials and tools for daily tasks, including wiring, conduit bending, and fixture installation.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Document work orders and report any equipment malfunctions to the shift supervisor.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics with guidance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic understanding of math and reading comprehension skills.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license (a plus for travel to job sites).
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
