Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman electricians with residential and commercial electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Prepare and organize job sites, ensuring all tools and materials are ready for use.
- Perform basic tasks such as pulling wire, stripping insulation, and terminating conduits.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Document work orders and time logs accurately for payroll and project tracking.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent (technical coursework is a plus).
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation (company vehicle provided for work use).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication) for calculating measurements.
- Strong desire to learn and work as part of a collaborative team.
