Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks on job sites.
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials and equipment efficiently.
- Operate power tools and equipment, including drills, saws, and compressors, following all safety protocols.
- Perform site preparation tasks, including excavation, grading, and debris removal.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Follow blueprints and instructions provided by project supervisors.
- Perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is a plus.
- Willingness to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and occasional holidays.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy labor in various weather conditions.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety procedures is an advantage.
