Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior team members with daily installation, maintenance, and repair tasks.
- Install Electrical Systems: Help lay out and install wiring, conduits, and fixtures according to blueprints and codes.
- Perform Basic Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and minor repairs to ensure systems operate efficiently.
- Read Technical Diagrams: Interpret basic electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and safety instructions.
- Maintain Tools: Keep work area organized and ensure all tools and equipment are clean and in good working order.
- Adhere to Safety Protocols: Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe work environment.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We are willing to train the right candidate who has a strong work ethic.
- Valid Driver’s License: Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with measurements and calculations.
- High School Diploma or GED: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Communication Skills: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Willingness to Learn: A proactive attitude towards apprenticeship training.
