Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Technicians: Support licensed electricians in performing routine electrical installations and repairs under close supervision.
- Prepare Work Sites: Set up workstations, gather necessary materials, and ensure the job site is organized and safe.
- Install Basic Components: Help in the installation of wiring, conduits, switches, and outlets according to blueprints and codes.
- Perform Quality Checks: Assist in inspecting completed work to ensure it meets safety standards and client specifications.
- Maintain Equipment: Keep tools and equipment clean, calibrated, and in good working order.
- Adhere to Safety Protocols: Strictly follow all OSHA regulations and company safety guidelines at all times.
- Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with homeowners and business owners, providing clear updates on project status.
Qualifications
- No Prior Experience Needed: We are looking for a strong attitude and a willingness to learn; formal experience is not required.
- Valid Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for daily travel to job sites.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various environments (indoor/outdoor).
- High School Diploma: A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with measurements, fractions, and basic calculations.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Communication Skills: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
