Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance projects.
- Perform basic tasks such as stripping wire, mounting outlets, replacing light fixtures, and installing junction boxes.
- Organize and transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites safely.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations.
- Study and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings under supervision.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients.
- Adhere to all local and national electrical codes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (required).
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ pounds and working in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Basic math skills, attention to detail, and mechanical aptitude.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
