Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical equipment to ensure compliance with safety codes.
- Install, maintain, and repair wiring, outlets, lighting fixtures, and switchgear.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe in accordance with OSHA regulations.
- Respond to service calls and complete basic troubleshooting tasks under supervision.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of mathematics and mechanical aptitude is a plus.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
