Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior technicians with installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Wiring & Installation: Perform basic wiring tasks, install outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures under supervision.
- Blueprint Reading: Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Tool Maintenance: Properly use, clean, and maintain hand and power tools according to safety standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
- Site Cleanup: Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and free of hazards at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Driver’s License: Valid Texas Driver’s License with a clean driving record is preferred.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and climb ladders/stairs.
- Math Skills: Basic understanding of mathematics (addition, subtraction, fractions).
- Attitude: Eager to learn, punctual, and reliable.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
