Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical equipment and systems to ensure safety compliance and optimal performance.
- Handle and operate various electrical hand and power tools safely and correctly.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and adhere to OSHA safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and any issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not strictly required.
- No prior experience is necessary. A strong willingness to learn and a mechanical aptitude are essential.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work in various environments, including heights, crawl spaces, and outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Physical stamina to stand, lift, and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
