Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Install and wire lighting fixtures, switches, outlets, and circuit breakers
- Conduct safety inspections and adhere to OSHA and NEC standards
- Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Participate in ongoing skills training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California Driver's License with clean record
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Basic math skills for calculations and measurements
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and teamwork
- Reliable transportation to job sites throughout Sacramento County
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends
